As you know, Hanoi is famous for some dishes: Phở, Lã Vọng Catfish meat and etc.
Beside these foods, I suppose you should spend time to try some kind of nosh food in Hanoi's streets. Delicious!!
Come to Tô Tịch street, Hàng Than street, Lý Quốc Sư street and others in the afternoon (they are closed in the morning).
Don't worry about that they can make you sick. I am quite sure that these stores and vendors are absolutely clean and safe. But, before enjoying your dishes, you should ask to be provided menu and price of meal.
